As Zeck and I exited the portal I looked around at our surroundings and discovered that either the top of the mountain must have at least a few thousand more feet above itself, or my com-link glitched the most epic glitch in the history of glitching. I decided to believe the latter, and more logical, of the two options and yelled at the top of my lungs, rage and anger infused in every millisecond that the roar lasted.

Prologue

"Why the hell didn't you wake me up!?!" I shouted at the top of my lungs at Zeck, Who's masked face mildly stared back at me. I rushed around, getting breakfast, packing equipment, yelling at Zeck, etc. You see, I slept right through my alarm clock. When I got downstairs to the barren, desolate lobby, Zeck was the lone soul just sitting there on the couch. He didn't bother to go to my room and ask "Hey, uh... Aren't you gonna be late?" no, he decided to just sit and wait for me on the sofa.

The first thing I noticed when I woke up was all the wind. The second thing I noticed was that the extremely high ceiling was falling. The third thing I noticed was that the area around me looked like a scene from Tron. The last and most devastating thing I noticed was...
...there wasn't a damn coffee machine in sight.
So now fully awake with that realization I wondered: just how did my day end up with a ceiling falling on me? It was an odd way to fall too, the walls came down with it at about the same velocity.

Abillities/skills:

can control lightning

can make weapons from lightning

strengths:

Is a quick thinker

can remain calm in a crisis

has great armor

lightning is more powerful in water

weaknesses:

weapons lasts no longer than 30 seconds.

magnets redirects and weakens lightning

extreme heat melts armor

often times pisses off his opponents

lightning consumes energy

If hit on his birthmark it knocks out lightning for at least a minute

has a phobia of insects

gets arrogant when winning

Personality: Simon is the kind of person who would wait for his opponent to be in as good as health as him before he fights. He jokes around a lot, even in battle. He doesn't like to kill and will avoid it, if possible. Cant stand bugs, not even butterflies.

Mannerisms/attitude: Is left handed. looks at his birthmark when thinking or is bored, bows when introducing himself.

History: Simon's family grew up on the streets of one of the major cities on their planet, Pisica. They had nothing until a Let-sha, which means lightning caller, noticed his birthmark. The Let-sha took him to be trained as a Let-Shan, which means lightning wielder. After his training he became a mercenary to help his family by sending back money to them. However, the jobs were infrequent and his family barely got rent for the apartment, and food everyday. Then he heard about the race. He believes that if he can get the dragon hides, the money could have his family set for life.

Likes: money, family, storms.

dislikes: bugs, unfair fights/fighters, magnets.
